HERE TO HELP

Here you will find answers to most of the FAQs that get asked.

Don't worry if you have a question that no one has thought of yet, just message us via our live chat and we will get that answered for you in a wink! (See what we did there...)

How soon before a treatment should I get a patch test done?

At least 48 hours before your treatment is due to be carried out.

Can I wear make up the same day as having a lash lift?

It is not recommended. Ideally you will avoid getting your lashes wet for at least 24 hours after having a lash lift done.

Can I wear mascara with lash extensions?

If you have Classic lash extensions then you can wear mascara, however it is recommended you use one that is specially formulated to be worn on extensions (eg - LashPerfect). If your extensions are Russians you must not wear mascara at all. This can cause the fans to close up and you will lose that lovely fluffiness!

Can I have a shower after a wax?

It is okay to take a cool or warm shower after your wax, however, we recommend waiting at least 5-8 hours for the skin to recover. Avoid hot showers or saunas/steam rooms after your wax.

How can I make my gel nails last as long as possible?

We all know that different gels last for different periods of time on different individuals. However, to increase your chances of having your lovely shiny nails stay firmly in place for 2-3 weeks you should stick to the following:

Wear gloves when washing up!

Avoid washing your hands in hot water.

Be gentle! Too many of us don't give opening a letter or a parcel or a microwave ready meal a second thought but scrabbling at those pesky corners can really damage our manicures more than we think! Always use scissors!

Apply cuticle oil everyday to keep your nails nourished.

DO NOT PICK AT THEM!

How should I prepare for a spray tan?

Ideally it is best to book in your spray tan for an evening. This is because you will be having to wear loose fitting clothes to avoid the dreaded rub! This also includes no bras ladies and for most of us our work attire requires one of these.

The night before your spray tan make sure you perform a full body exfoliation and go to bed having applied moisturiser all over.

The day of your tan avoid deodorant if you can, sometimes if your deodorant is still clinging on come spray time it can create a funny green colour under the arms.

Development time is usually around 6-8 hours so it is best to sleep to get the maximum amount of time. When you wake up try not to be too alarmed at the dirty thing looking back at you in the mirror, just hop in the shower and watch as all the excess washes off leaving a lovely smooth golden glow! PAT yourself dry do not rub.

To help the tan fade more evenly make sure you moisturise every night.
